
This semester, a group of students enrolled in a community research class at IUPUI have been interviewing African American and Sephardic Jewish community members who once lived side-by-side in a neighborhood on Indianapolis’ near Southside. They have recorded interviews and scanned photos and other memorabilia with the intention of creating a document that will preserve this precious history.
