The Neighborhood of Saturdays: Memories of a Multi-Ethnic Neighborhood on Indianapolis’ Southside

This semester, a group of students enrolled in a community research class at IUPUI have been interviewing African American and Sephardic Jewish community members who once lived side-by-side in a neighborhood on Indianapolis’ near Southside. They have recorded interviews and scanned photos and other memorabilia with the intention of creating a document that will preserve this precious history.

Walking for Dreams Family and Pet Walk

Thanks to THE SYCAMORE FOUNDATION, the children and youth programs will be able to raise needed support for their programs and activiies.

The WALK FOR DREAMS will be held May 23rd from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The walk will start on the Downtown Canal-Briggs Temple.
