Early Learning Enrollment and Orientation Processes

If you're interested in enrolling your pre-kindergarten child in our early learning program, please begin the enrollment process by arranging an in-person consulation with the program manager, Scott Moore (317.637.4376 x: 2137 or smoore@concordindy.org). Our enrollment processes are off-line and in person because we want to meet you--and think you should meet us, too!

After all, the child care program you choose is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make, and it's your child's first experience of "school."

the Enrollment Process

This is the boring-but-important paperwork part. For your enrollment appointment, please gather and submit copies of:

  • Completed physical examination, dated within the last 12 months

  • Up-to-date health records, which will be kept on file

  • Immunization records, with documented dates of each immunization

  • Completed program registration form

  • School lunch meal form and school lunch enrollment form

  • Emergency and student release forms

  • ISTAR-KR consent form

  • Child’s profile form

  • Registration and the first week’s fee

  • Documentation of any special needs—such as a medical condition or food allergies.

Orientation

For many children, enrollment in Concord’s early childhood education program is their first introduction to “school.” We understand that those first weeks in a new environment and structure, with new faces, friends, routines and experiences, can be overwhelming. Our goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment outside the home.

We encourage families to bring new students to visit Concord prior to the first day. This visit will help families and children know what to expect, answer questions, and experience Concord’s environment together.
